Zhao Xue became the winner of the FIDE Women's Grand Prix in Nalchik. On 21 October she came to the stage in the national Kabardinian suit during the closing ceremony. Mr. Ivan Gerter, the Chairman of Kabardino-Balkarian government solemnly handed a check of 6500 Euro to the Chinese chess player and wished her further success. The lady in her turn thanked everyone who supported her. Then she performed the national Kabardinian dance, the visit card of the Republic.

Mr. Aslan Afaunov, Minister of Sports and Tourism of KBR presented the participants of the tournament with souvenirs and special nominations were picked for each of them. At the end of the ceremony the singers and dancers of the KBR republic performed for all the guests.
